Wintering: Rest, Reflection & Inward Practices
With Farah Nazarali
October 11 - 15, 2026
“Plants and animals don’t fight the winter; they prepare. They adapt. They perform extraordinary acts of metamorphosis. Winter is a time of withdrawing from the world, [and] that’s where the transformation occurs. Winter is not the death of the life cycle, but its crucible.”- Katherine May
Step out of the hustle and bustle of modern life and dive deep into the practice of ‘wintering;’ pausing and slowing down to give the body, mind, and spirit rest. Immerse in somatic and inward practices that draw us deeper into ourselves to access intuition, insight, and wisdom.
This program is ideal for those in the midst of life transitions, relationship or professional transitions or those whom simply desire to step out of the digital realm and the roles and responsibilities that pull us outward and slow down long enough to develop intimacy with ourselves and the deeper questions of life.
This retreat weaves together yogic practices, connection with the elements and Nature, journaling, and poetry to provoke insight, self-awareness, and meaningful dialogue about the seasons of life and wisdom that comes from stepping out of productivity and achievement and settling into a rhythm that allows us to embrace the unknown and trust the alchemy of change and transitions.
