Held in the days of the harvest full moon and the yogic season of ancestral remembrance known as Pitru Paksha, this retreat is a sacred portal into healing, connection, and embodied renewal.

Across cultures, this time of year has long been honoured as a season to remember, pay tribute to, and commune with those who came before us.

We live in a culture that is not ancestrally rooted in daily life, and this gathering offers a return to what has always held us. Here, you will be supported in healing and reconnecting with your lineage, while also exploring and celebrating your ancestral gifts.

We will call in the presence, guidance, and blessings of your maternal and paternal lines as we create personal and collective altars to honour our ancestors. Through storytelling, ritual, ceremony, mantra, and mudra, we will open space to listen, receive, and engage with the lineages that shape you.

Move, breathe, and reflect as we explore inherited patterns in the body – softening, releasing, and transforming them with care. Reflective writing, group discussion, and sacred art will deepen insight and foster meaningful connection, both to your inner world and the shared ancestral field – offering multiple pathways to insight, expression, and healing.

Time in nature will anchor and integrate your journey, allowing the elements to support your reflection and reconnection. Each ritual, practice, and moment of presence is designed to help you feel the resilience, love, and wisdom that flows through your ancestral line.

By the close of the retreat, you will leave with practical tools for daily integration, a deepened sense of belonging, and a felt connection to your lineage’s strength and guidance.

Come as you are. Leave with more of who you truly are – embodied, empowered, and embraced by the love that flows through generations.

Testimonials

“Attending Satya’s ancestral ceremony and retreat unlocked a kind of belonging I did not even know my soul had been missing. Satya weaves a tapestry of love in her ceremonies that we may pick up and wrap ourselves in. Through her carefully woven experience of self exploration, honouring of our ancestors and deep and rich traditions that she shares so open heartedly – I found myself less alone in the world, braver, and living a full and richer life experience. There are no words for the kind of gratitude I feel for the wisdom and work that Satya offers in the world.” – Jeannine Wakely, Past Ancestral Retreat Participant

“The full moon ancestral retreat led by Satya was transformative. What emerged was a profound shift in how I relate to the women in my lineage – rooted in compassion, forgiveness and peace. This deep connection to my ancestors sparked a powerful creative energy that ultimately led to the completion of my one-woman theatre show. I am deeply grateful.” – Christie Roome, Past Ancestral Retreat Participant

“I appreciated that the retreat was held with devotion, and deep respect. The teachings were shared with beauty and integrity, and this really touched my heart.” – Elisha A, Past Retreat Participant

“I loved the whole retreat! The highlight was the knowledge that you shared. I have never met anyone as well versed in yogic history/culture/ceremony. So much fun to be a part of this.” -Heidi S, Past Retreat Participant
