What does it mean to truly let go? What are we letting go of, and how? At the threshold of autumn, inspired by the natural world—a natural teacher—join Deborah Eden Tull and Caverly Morgan for this contemplative and restorative journey. We will delve into the profound themes of rooting in presence, unfurling into embodied being, and letting go of what no longer serves us. Meditation, in its essence, is not about attainment but attunement. As we observe the natural world in fall, we witness a graceful model of attunement, free from the veils that often obscure our being.

As we look to the spirit of this season, we are offered a natural model of how attunement occurs with ease, when we are not caught in what veils being. This immersive experience will include meditation, conscious movement, solo time in nature, reflective writing, contemplative inquiry, and group discussion. With a blend of silence and relationality, a balance of introversion and extroversion, we’ll focus on the joy of being in beloved community while deepening our direct experience of being.

Learning Objectives

  • Deepen in presence. Cultivate grounded attention that allows you to root in ever-present awareness—awakening to the simplicity and aliveness of now.
  • Explore the art of letting go. Gently inquire into what you’re ready to release, and experience how surrender can open the heart to freedom and flow.
  • Attune to the wisdom of the natural world. Through mindful connection with autumn’s rhythms, discover how nature mirrors the teachings of impermanence, stillness, and renewal.
  • Integrate silence and relational practice. Learn how to balance inner stillness with conscious connection, experiencing both solitude and beloved community as pathways to wholeness.

Expected Activities

Meditation, conscious movement, solo time in nature, reflective writing, contemplative inquiry, and group discussion
