Zoe Young
Zoe Young serves as Head of Creative Content for the Nature Conservancy in California, where she works with scientists to tell the story of a California that has made it through the worst effects of climate change. She uses real science to drive nature-based climate solutions at the state level and support conservation on the ground. At the same time, Zoe is a professor of playwriting and screenwriting at Berkeley City College, and by combining her knowledge of climate writing and dramatic narrative, she will guide workshop participants through their own stories. Zoe holds an MFA in writing from California College of the Arts and she has nearly a decade of experience in climate writing.
