Lloyd James Attig, Muskoday First Nation, Plains Cree
Lloyd Attig is a Plains Cree, originally from the Muskoday First Nation near Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He has lived on unceded Coast Salish territory for 34 years. He is married to Michelle Nahanee, Squamish, and loves to spend time with his two daughters, Jaime and Paisley. He enjoys healthy cooking and works out regularly. Lloyd is an outdoorsman with extensive wilderness experience. He is a two-time silver medalist in the super heavyweight boxing division of the North American Indigenous Games. Holistic health has always been important to Lloyd, he has experienced huge personal transformation through his balanced approach to life and healing.
Lloyd has witnessed the power to overcome barriers by cultivating personal strengths in 1000s of First Nations clients and learners. With 14 years of experience in life skills and career development and 11 years of experience in Indigenous mental health and wellness, Lloyd brings a unique lens and approach to facilitating wellness. His work as a Clinical Supervisor, Counsellor and Life Skills Instructor informs the workshops, coaching and circles he facilitates.
