If you play the ukulele, you likely understand the joyful power of this small but mighty instrument. At Hollyhock this summer, discover kanikapila, the magic that erupts when playing and creating music together.

With Hawaiian ukulele master Kimo Hussey as your guide, go beyond rudimentary play and explore the myriad combinations that come beyond C, F, & G7. Unlock the depth and endless rewards of this joyful instrument. Find focus and confidence in your playing at Hollyhock with a master teacher and a group of players – together you will learn from each other.

Students will enhance their background in chords and rudiments (strumming, knowledge of most-often-used chords and keys, introductions, endings, fills, repertoire sources, practice).

Come prepared by knowing: C, F, G, B, A minor, D minor, E minor, G minor, G7, C7, D7.
