Skillful facilitation has the capacity to transform spaces and communities. There is a special kind of power that is felt when people come together in circle, to speak truth, and to practice better ways of being in dialogue.

As facilitators, we are often hoping to create events that:

  • Support depth and wit
  • Have a capacity to meet disagreement
  • Promote growth and learning
  • Support the formation of community
  • Hold space for grief and celebration

This spring, Hollyhock Leadership Institute, in partnership with the Dialogue and Civic Engagement Certificate program at SFU Continuing Studies, are offering an opportunity to co-create such a space.

You can expect to:

  • Develop networks of mutual support and collaboration
  • Explore different practices and frameworks
  • Gain insight to help grow your career as a facilitator
  • Have fun!

Accommodations & Meals

This program takes place in Vancouver, BC. Participants are responsible for their own lodging and meals.
