The Stay Looking workshop is a deep-dive exploration of social justice and healing from oppressive systems.

This workshop is designed for white-bodied allies (male/female/non-binary) who want to dismantle racism and become more effective advocates for genuine change. It begins with personal reflection, including silence and song, and progresses into a collective awareness of Black oppression and grief.

Throughout the workshop, attendees will learn practices to help them sit with difficult emotions like anger, grief, rage, sadness, discomfort, and hope. The goal is to remain present in the body, nature, and community. It’s important to come with an understanding that our deep contemplation on unrested labor, Black grief, and dismantling oppression in Canada and America is a big topic and will open the door to our ability to stay looking.

Attending Aaron’s workshops is truly an adventure in learning, feeling, and connecting. His ability to help those in the room with him see what they’ve been missing is second to none. He holds a generous space that invites participants to step into the necessary discomfort while staying present to what is possible within them.” – Past participant
