Presence Psychotherapy is a trauma therapy that integrates spirituality, internal inquiry, and relational attunement to facilitate healing. Developed by Michelle Lepak, this intensive 5-day training, rooted in evidence-based practice, helps clients orient to Four Dimensions of Presence to sense compassion in and around them, experience oneness, and sense the essence of who they are beyond their trauma. Presence Psychotherapy is a comprehensive trauma treatment model designed to help process the many layers and nuances of trauma. Presence Psychotherapy is published in the APA Journal of Integrative Psychotherapy and the International Journal of Trauma Care.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify and utilize the qualities and therapeutic aspects of the Four Dimensions of Grounded Presence and Spacious Presence, Relational Presence, and Transcendent Presence.
  • Recognize and utilize clients’ personal connection to spirituality to heal trauma.
  • Facilitate Transcendent Presence awareness to process trauma without creating spiritual bypass.

“Michelle is one of those rare practitioner/teachers who possesses an abundance of knowledge combined with the gift of a keen intuitive sense that she integrates organically into being a highly skilled trainer/teacher. She is open, warm, present, caring, and very well organized… She creates a very caring, safe environment within which much joyful learning can take place.” – Bob Evans, Ph.D, Past participant
