Emergent Hope: Navigating a path through the Covid and Climate Crises (Online)
With Kairn Mahon Carrington and Spring Cheng, PhD.
October 28 - December 9, 2020
Life has adapted through many dramatic events on planet Earth.
During the billions of years of evolutionary process, life emerged through the clash of enormous destructive and creative currents. The intertwined crises of COVID and climate are triggering tremendous destructive forces as well as creative responses. Whether we thrive, or even survive this evolutionary moment depends on how we adapt and evolve through the complexities and uncertainty. This workshop presents a four-fold map to navigate the complexities of life in this trouble time.
We will explore how to build our emotional and spiritual resilience, strengthen our embodiment and presence, and bring our wisest and most compassionate selves to the work of healing in this pivotal historical moment. Each week we will explore new frameworks and tools to transform our stress, confusion, and grief into a deeper connection with life.
